Welcome to the Preferred Contractor Network
After a storm or other emergency*, your home may have suffered damages that need immediate attention. We partnered with Quality Network, a Field Pros Direct Company to create a Preferred Contractor Network (PCN) of home service pros to help you during this time – and we made it easy for you to work with these qualified, reliable, insured, and trustworthy pros to complete repairs quickly and professionally.
How to use approved contractors
After you file a claim with VYRD, and after we have inspected damage to your property, you are assigned a PCN vendor for estimates and repairs. VYRD will pay you (or your mortgage company) directly, less any deductibles.
Water damage restoration, smoke and/or fire mitigation, mold remediation services, tree removal, tarping, board up
Temporary housing (extended stay hotels, long-term housing), delivery of furniture, housewares, appliances to the temporary residence, special needs accommodation
Roofing, flooring, framing, drywall, cabinet replacement and repairs, electrical, painting
And VYRD’s Preferred Contractor Endorsement makes it even easier!
The very BEST way to take advantage of our Preferred Contractor Network (and to save you time and frustration) is to add the Preferred Network Endorsement (PCE) to your policy. When you do, you enjoy these benefits:
5% discount by agreeing to leverage our network of contractors.
The PCE compresses the repair timeline because we involve the PCN from the beginning and we oversee the process.
100% of all PCN work comes with a warranty for PCE policyholders.
VYRD coordinates all work and reports to you, the policyholder, directly. This includes:
- Scope of repairs
- Making repairs using materials similar to existing kind and quality (without deduction for depreciation)
- Obtaining permits
- Copies of any required licensure and warranty/guarantee information when applicable.
- Documentation of workers compensation insurance and commercial general liability coverage with limits no less than $1 million
It’s also great to know that VYRD likely will not have to involve the policyholder’s mortgage company as a payee. The only thing the homeowners will be required to do is to pay their deductible directly to the PCN contractor.
Please note that PCE customers who choose to use contractors outside of VYRD’s network will incur additional expenses not covered by the policy.
